Bug Description

while trying to use perf on the N4 it was noticed that the tooling for the kernel version available is not the same as the kernel version actually running on the device
to test, simply try to install the packages needed to run perf

actually seems the packages are available...but stuck in linux-mako-tools | 3.4.0.7.10~15.04.1 | vivid-proposed/universe

This is blocked on this SRU https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-mako/+bug/1489327
If you can do the SRU verification in vivid, the package will be promoted.

SRU verified, it should unblock the promotion of kernel-tools once the packages are published to -updates.

EOL of vivid is tomorrow (Feb 4th) you should just publish kernel tools to the overlay PPA.
