Bug Description
The right vertical third of a client's desktop (1280x1024), including the top panel and any windows, occasionally does not register interactions with the mouse. They said it just started recently, and they restart the computer to fix it. I witnessed the issue more than once but couldn't reproduce it.
There was a similar issue in Ubuntu 11.04, and recommendations to fix it were to restart the compositor. Logging out, restarting the X server, and restarting restore normal behavior.
