popup screen persistence

Binary package hint: thunderbird

While using Thunderbird I did a right-mouse click over an email address and then left the machine for a while with the pop-up screen displaying. (See attached screenshot.)
Upon return, the pop-up screen was still there and persisted despite closing related windows. It exhibited "Always on Top" behavior which made using other applications difficult.
It immediately closed once I clicked on one of the actions. (Copy Email Address) and this is the only time I've experienced this behavior.

I could not reproduce this bug, can you confirm whether this bug is still present in Ubuntu 8.04 (and for interest sake, if it persisted in 7.10 release)
