Bug Description
When the system puts the display to sleep after X amount of time of inactivity it will not turn back on. Black screen. I can press ctrl+alt+f1 to get me to a terminal session and that works. I then can restart lightdm or reboot.
This started after upgrading to 15.10.

Chris,
Thanks for looking into this. I updated my bios to version F10 using the Gigabyte @BIOS utility and Windows.
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
F10
06/18/2015
Unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem. There is no difference as far as I can tell.
