Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdebi

While trying to install Innotec Virtual Box, Feisty release on Gutsy Beta. The user has to agree with a license, however there is no way to answer Yes or No. It just shows a text and that's is. Finally an error message gdebi ended unexpected.

I can confirm that not being able to accept licenses is still a problem with gdebi-kde in Intrepid. In fact, dpkg says that it can't even show the license and indeed, the license never appears.

This is a serious issue on Intrepid as gdebi-kde crashes as soon as the package requests package acceptance and then blames the fault on the package being installed when reporting the crash.

This leaves the wondering what is wrong with the package they are installing (or in many cases a dependency that they haven't heard of) when it is the fault of gdebi-kde.
