Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Based on the error message, have you done any changes to the password for the keystore or this a first install?

Also, could you please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 1511421

Ok, just checking.

Thanks for providing the requested information. I briefly tested this by installing ca-certificates-java on a 15.10 vm, but I was unable to reproduce the issue.

purged the package from the system, change from ubuntu italian servers to main servers and reinstalled the package => issue solved
