Bug Description

Package: asterisk
Version: 1:11.7.0~dfsg-1ubuntu1

Compiling of asterisk stops, because patch: debian/patch/pjproject is incomplete. It is missing all the changes to "configuration" file.

If you copy configuration file from: http://svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk?view=rev&rev=382900 it will work.

deb source configuration file should be updated.

Based on the version number, I presume this is an attempted rebuild of the package in 14.04? When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. That way the bug report will automatically end up under the correct package with version numbers and other related information included. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

I am unable to reproduce and successfully test built asterisk 1:11.7.0~dfsg-1ubuntu1 on Trusty using sbuild. Could it be some issue with your build environment? See my build log attached.

I'm marking this Invalid since asterisk 1:11.7.0~dfsg-1ubuntu1 can successfully be built on Trusty. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SimpleSbuild for help, or see http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community for community support options if you are having difficulty.

If after looking into this you believe that this really is a bug in Ubuntu as opposed to a problem with your build environment, please provide exact steps to reproduce on a fresh Ubuntu system and then set the bug status back to New.

Changed in asterisk (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

That's not the correct way build from a Debian or Ubuntu source package. Use "debian/rules build" or "dpkg-buildpackage". See the documentation.
