Subject: libgtkmm-2.4-1 must conflict with packages built with 2.6.0-1

Package: libgtkmm-2.4-1
Version: 1:2.4.11-1
Severity: grave

1:2.4.11-1 > 2.6.0-1

Therefore, libgtkmm-2.4-1 has to conflict with the versions of
all packages that were built on at least one architecture with
libgtkmm-2.4-1 2.6.0-1 to prevent any breakages this apparent
downgrade of libgtkmm-2.4-1 might cause.

What is this about? An epoched downgrade? Is it relevant to Ubuntu at all?

2.6.0 was uninstallable, unless one also installed components from
experimental, so if anything was compiled against it and uploaded to
unstable, it seems to me that would be a bug with that package.

Is there a list somewhere showing packages in unstable built against =
2.6.0?

I thought you could see it by checking all architectures for
dependencies on libgtkmm-2.4-1 (>= 2.6.0).

But looking closer, the 1:2.4.11-1 still has the (>= 2.6.0) in the
shlibs file (which should IMHO be changed to (>= 1:2.4.11-1) to avoid
confusion.

If 2.6.0 was never installable on any architectures, it might actually
be that my bug covers a non-issue.
