Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal-info

The Nokia N800 is not solely a music playing device, but HAL seems to think it is as Rhythmbox starts up automatically when a N800 is plugged in.

I confirm and since I plug it into computer quite often I have to close Rhythmbox (and it usually hangs then) before doing anything with the data on tablet.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 RC or later?

8.10 final pops up a dialog saying 'You'ver just installed a digital audio player. Choose what application to launch. You can choose various audio players and to just open the device using nautilus.

It is still recognized as digital audio player, but i think this new dialog solves the original problem.
