Bug Description

Binary package hint: nspluginwrapper

I left my computer running when I went to bed; after I woke up I tried to get on it, but the screen froze. I rebooted it and it booted to a command prompt stating "error could not load nvidia-kernel-module" and "screens found but could not be loaded", or something to that effect. After logging in,I used Nano to alter xorg.conf to run the "nv" driver instead of the "nvidia" and gave the command to "sudo startx". It booted the screen and loaded Firefox, which I minimized. I then altered xorg.conf to run the nvidia driver, logged out and restarted X, which booted the command prompt again with the same error messages. I changed xorg.conf again to "nv" and booted back to the UI and got the error message I'm now reporting.
