thunderbird hanging frequently (several times an hour during regular use)

I'm running Gutsy Beta (32-bit intel) , a fresh install save for the system updates. I've been running thunderbird for the past two days and it seems to have become increasingly unstable. Typically, it'll simply stop responding, usually when it's a backgrounded app brought to the fore. However, closing it using the window icon typically works, the window manager presenting the option to continue or force quit.

Seems to be the tango icon bug. I switched back to default icons; no more crashes.
