firefox scrolling issue while clicking down/up button

In some sites (eg: facebook etc.,) when every if i click up or down button my page automatically go to top or bottom extreme of the page. Not able to scroll properly. Even i reported to firefox directly but they told this issue is not in there release once modified (Ubuntu+firefox) there only these kindly of bug are there...

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.

When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
