This applies to gutsy gibbon 7.10 as of 2007-10-08 (beta, fully updated)
Setting method to mount by (only on ntfs partitions); name/uuid/label, does not cancel the current radiolist item in the widget when you select a new one.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Is there anymore information you can supply on this problem?
I am assuming (from your description) you using the 'Disk & Filesystem' application from 'System Settings' (KMenu -> System Settings). Is this correct? Are you using a language that uses non-ascii characters (such as Czech/Chinese)?
Can you run the graphical mount program from a Konsole window, and replicate the problem and then post the output in the terminal window? The mounting program is called `mountconfig` and you'll need to run it from the Terminal using sudo and your admin password.
sudo mountconfig
Hopefully this will give some more hints to what is happening.
