Bug Description
Ubuntu 14.04 trusty (x86-64)
Cinnamon Version 2.6.13
Linux Kernel 3.13.0-65-generic
Hi,
PC connected via USB to Synthesizer.
The Synthesizer creates a USB Virtual Drive.
In Nemo: 2 tabs opened.
Tab number 1: Where I have the file I'm going to copy to the Virtual Drive.
Tab number 2: I click on the Devices column at the left of Nemo, I select my synthesizer.
I copy the file from Tab 1 to Tab 2.
I eject the Virtual Drive by clicking on the eject icon.
I close Tab 2.
------ I do the stuff I do with the synthesizer -----
Now I need to do all this again.
File - New Tab to open Tab 2 again (I closed it before)
I reboot the synthesizer
The Virtual Drive appears again in the Devices list.
When I click on the Virtual Drive, Nemo crashes and closes.
This has happening since a couple of weeks ago after a regular Ubuntu Update (the kind suggested by Ubuntu when a pop up window shows you that some packages are going to be updated....). Since then, there have been several other Ubuntu upgrades but the problem remains.
I have been doing this kind of process for years with Ubuntu. This is clearly something that has happened in a recent update.
I can discard this is something related to the Synthesizer as I tried with multiple different synthesizers that I have been working in the past.
Thanks,
Regards,
Hipo
Hi,
More information.
This does NOT happen if I use the "FIles" utility. Only with "Nemo".
