Bug Description
The mpd daemon is being installed as a service. Any attempts at creating a local configuration (for instance, with files based on ~/.config/mpd) will fail because the daemon is being started before user login and will read /etc/mpd.conf by default. The service needs to be stopped and removed before a user local configuration is possible.
But mpd also appears in the Startup Applications panel in Cinnamon, giving the false impression it is being started as user.
mpd needs to be either installed as a service or as user.
