knetworkmanager hangs on activating device

I'm seeing this bug in my feisty installation and also on the gutsy live cd. Knetworkmanager was working fine until one day it started hanging on: 28% Activating Device. Here's the end of /var/log/messages (in the gutsy live cd) :

Forgot to mention: I'm using an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card which is working fine in win and was working fine in kubuntu 2 weeks ago.

I've installed gutsy and done a dist-upgrade and everything works great now!
