Shutter hangs when doing another screenshot while image editor is open

Bug Description
Well, it does not really hang, I can do selection etc. just fine, I just can't finish selection mode - neither ESC nor Enter key do anything. This happened to me when tieing "shutter -s" to a key combination and pressing that; I didn't test the other selection modes.
Worse: The entire desktop becomes unresponsive. I have to Shift-Alt-F1 to a terminal and killall -9 shutter (requiring a -9 kill isn't exactly nice either).
Shutter 0.92, Xubuntu 15.04.
