Bug Description
After searching for some file in a directory I use arrow keys to navigate between found items. When I find the desired item I press ESC for closing search dialog but the location of the item chosen is not preserved.(this is the behavior in nautilus type ahead feature)

The Escape key is meant to signify "cancel" i.e. forget about what I just did. It also is used to cancel any selection in the view. To confirm the item under the cursor is the required one, the intention is that you press "Enter". Of course, if what you found is a folder then you will navigate into that folder - which maybe not want you want - you then have to press BackSpace to return to the first directory and highlight the folder (if it is a child of the first directory). However, it should be possible to change the behaviour to match that of Nautilus.
