main menu slow to open after startup

Bug Description

In the gnome-panel, after the boot, when I click on the ubuntu to open the main menu, this takes about 5 seconds to open.

It seems to be related to something not being loaded, since after this first click the following immediately opens the menu...

Maybe it's related, so I'll speak about it too: There seems to be the same problem with the alt-F2 shortcut (to "execute an app" quickly by its name). The first time takes about 2 seconds to open, and I can't type more than 1 letter for two seconds while it seems to initialize :-/.

Couldn't it be related to something not being forced to load, so it falls on a kind of "lazy-loaded" strategy in my case?

Thanks for your great work!

Btw, shouldn't this bug marked as duplicate?

Thanks again.

we get hundred of duplicates a week and it takes hours to found the exact number which are efforts not invested on actual bug fixing that's why I don't do all the work and let users do the launchpad query to find the already opened bug sometime. This one is a duplicate of bug #44002
