Bug Description

I had Ubuntu 15.04 with Unity on a Sony Vaio laptop. Resuming from suspend worked just fine. But after a fresh install of the 15.10 beta, it has trouble resuming. Instead of showing the screen locker, it shows the previous screen with a mouse pointer over the "suspend" item in the user cog icon menu. (I suspend it from that menu, not the key combination.) After a few seconds it shows the lock screen, but the password field doesn't accept input for several seconds more. Finally the screen blinks and it starts accepting password input. This process used to be smooth and instantaneous with 15.04, now it's extremely slow and buggy.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

The apport logs are after I already downgraded to 15.04. But if necessary I can run this again from the live USB with 15.10.
