Present windows (Scale plugin) preview on click when several windows are grouped together option doesn't work with Compiz 0.9.12.1

With Compiz 0.8.9 (Arch Linux, Xfce) the option "Present windows preview on click when several windows are grouped together" works fine and calls the Scale plugin. However, with Compiz 0.9.12.1 (Manjaro Linux, Xfce) it doesn't work any more, a click on a grouped window icon does nothing, the second click minimizes all windows of the given type. Cairo Dock 3.4.1 is used in both cases. Let me know if further information is needed.

Can you check if Compiz's DBus plugin is enabled?

I cannot find this plugin in CCSM 0.9.12, will investigate further and report back later.

It seems like DBus has been removed in 0.9.x which is the reason for the bug. Is there any possibility to achieve the same functionality without the DBus plugin such that it can be used in Compiz 0.9.x?

I checked again and either I was blind a year ago or things changed in between, but now there actually is a DBus plugin in Compiz. Unfortunately, activating it crashes Compiz. So, so far I need to close this bug as invalid and return to it once the Compiz problem is solved.
