update to ubuntu package does not remove /etc/init.d/xe-linux-distribution

Bug Description
After updating the package xe-guest-
This causes an attempt to double start/stop /usr/sbin/
It seems that the file /etc/init.
In debian/rules there is
# We don't need the old init.d job
rm -rf extracted/etc
So the old init.d job is still there after updating from the upstream .deb package to the Ubuntu package.
IMO a preinst 'update' is needed to get this right on a package upgrade
