Bug Description

I run lxde but this should not affect this bug. '
When I install a wine program, the program creates default menu items. For years it has included "notepad" as one of these items, but recently it does not.
I assume this was a deliberate choice; hovever, i have always found its inclusion to be useful to me, and would ask that future versions of wine return to putting notepad back in the list of automatically installed menu items.

Yes,winecfg, uninstaller, notepad and browsedrive menu entries were only present in the old Ubuntu packages.

Readding them would be no security risk, but others might object to cluttered menus. Personally I have no hard opinion on winecfg and wine uninstaller. However I absolutely miss what's the point in having notepad.

Everyone wanting to bring this forward, might think about submitting the related files upstream (https://wiki.winehq.org/Submitting_Patches).
