In passwd 1:4.1.5.1-1ubuntu4
usermod --help text contains 2x typo / misspelling:
Text in package reads:
-V, --del-subuids FIRST-LAST remvoe range of subordinate uids
-W, --del-subgids FIRST-LAST remvoe range of subordinate gids
Text in package SHOULD read:
-V, --del-subuids FIRST-LAST remove range of subordinate uids
-W, --del-subgids FIRST-LAST remove range of subordinate gids

This seems Ubuntu specific and the typo is in the patch userns/ 09_userns_ usermod file.
