I can confirm this on the recent 3.5.8 upgrade.

I can also confirm this, it also doesnt matter which version of Kopete is used on KDE 3.5.8, it still fails in the same manner. I have tried 12.5 and 12.7.

I've noticed that the crash only appears when you connect with a msn account, if you stay offline or if you use a jabber account everything work.

its to do with the last gutsy update before its release date , that update made this mess,

kopete works fine on gutsy without the updates.

Same problem here, even after complete uninstall and reinstall, probably my msn settings are not wiped with the complete uninstall as KCrash still reports the msn account.

I am using Kubuntu Gutsy 64 bit RC.
