Bug Description
When an upload fails, I'm greeted with only a popup saying it failed. It doesn't return the error code from the server, nor give any other hint as to what might be wrong. It would be useful to direct the user in some way when they hit this code.

This needs some improvements on the server side to send a proper response, as well as client side improvements to parse them.
