Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

This has occurred since upgrading to Gutsy Beta from Feisty. Update-manager appears to run, showing the icon indicating new updates available but clicking on the icon causes the crash. I'd be happy to help you debug it - let me know what I need to do.

Thanks for your bugreport.

Do you have a local install of cairo or gtk somewhere?

Yes, good catch. I had a local copy of cairo, I was using for development ages ago. I've removed it now and update-manager works without crashing. Bug 149082 is sorted also due to the same problem, so both can be closed.
