Problem renaming files in ~/.config/autostart

Bug Description

When renaming files in ~/.config/autostart it append .desktop even when already have .desktop at the end.
It happens each time you rename the file. For example:
raname: "deluge.desktop" will be "deluge1.desktop.desktop" if i rename it again, will be "deluge2.desktop.desktop.desktop", and so on.

I am using Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon.
I am editing it in Nemo.
