1. Open the staff client.
2. Browse to a patron that has a unfulfilled hold.
3. Right click the hold and choose "Edit Mobile/Text Number"
4. Enter "48abcd bla bla43"
5. Confirm Yes
The hold is updated with an unreachable sms. Some staff include the hyphens when inputting the phone number which will cause the sms to fail.

Marking this as "won't fix" for a couple reasons.
1) Hyphens should not be an issue because it was fixed behind the scenes in the A/T side of things with bug 1016654.
2) For some carriers, it is possible to use an alias with alphanumeric instead of just numbers, and if we ignore or parse out letters, then that won't work for them.
