Bug Description

On Ubuntu 7:4 I tried to install it and i came up with errors telling me that my x server was messed up. So i fixed that problem and when i got it up and running i wanted beryl to run on my OS and it wouldn't because of the my ATI video card. I know ATI promised to release the drivers soon but i have not found them yet. When i tried to download the 7.10 Beta i got the same problem only this time i didn't have any X server problems. I was wondering if their was a driver i could install to get beryl to run on my notebook. I am using an Dell Inspiron 1501 with an ATI Radeon® Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemoryTM (integrated)4 video card. If someone can find a driver, or a solution to the problem that would be great! Email me at <email address hidden> Thanks!

Beryl has been removed from Ubuntu.

You may have better luck after upgrading to Ubuntu 7.10 after its release in 2 weeks, but you could also try searching http://ubuntuforums.org/, or asking a question at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu.
