window buttons' markings

Bug Description
on the current vivid+overlay windowed mode, the windows currently have close, max, hide buttons (orange circle, gray circle, gray circle respectively) but have no markings. this is partly due to size/real estate - do we want to add a marking or change colors in any way ?
