Ubuntu-emulator crashes on wily but works on vivid

Bug Description
STEPS:
1. install wily on the pc
2. Install phablet-tools
3. Run sudo ubuntu-emulator create --channel ubuntu-
4. Run ubuntu-emulator run vivid
EXPECTED:
Emulated phone interface
ACTUAL:
Emulator seg faults at some point in the install with a line like *** Error in `signal: aborted (core dumped)
This only affect wily and qa will need to block ota7 if this bug is not fixed as that will be the release of wily and many more users will be on the wily desktop.
