Bug Description

While playing full screen video, the top and bottom part should be black. However, the default video player shows the previously opened application at top and bottom while the video plays. I have attached a screenshot.
The features are far too less. I have to resort to VLC for my video needs which I don't want to, but have to.

I dont use any theme. At that time, I had a fresh install of elementary and was testing it. Tried playing video and that bug surfaced. I already love the UI and default theme of elementary.

Try playing videos of different resolutions to replicate the glitch.
In response to the comment by Daniel Fore: I updated my elementary after the fix was committed, it's still happening.
