Live CD install hangs on 'Importing User Profiles'

During the Live CD installation, all files are copied and partitions formatted. When it gets to the part where it's 'importing user profiles' it stops installing. It doesn't freeze or anything, it just never completes and gets stuck at 88% complete forever. There's no exception handler nor is there a timeout. It also doesn't ask me if I want to import profiles like Feisty Fawn does.

The bug was found in live CD image = ubuntu-7.10-beta-desktop-i386.iso

I didn't know it was a duplicate. Thanks for the info. I ended up
doing the update-manager -d approach from a clean install of 7.04. I'm
really impressed with the improvements. (And I was waiting for Compiz
Fusion :) )
