Bug Description

Version 0.3.1 (installed as noise-bzr from the elementary repo for Arch)
Kernel version 4.1.6-1-MANJARO
EDITED
I didn't know what was going on before but it's clearer to me now: I had installed noise once before and set my library folder to something in /mnt/, a folder that doesn't exist any more. After reinstalling the preferences menu seemed to show that no library folder was set, so I tried to set one, which caused a scan of my entire / to happen.
So I assume the actual bug is this: noise breaks completely if the library folder in gconf org.pantheon.noise.settings doesn't exist any more, regardless of whether there is still a library db anywhere.
gdb doesn't really help here, it just throws a bunch of file permission denied warnings and that's basically it.

I would also like to add that the interface is frozen the entire time that the scan is happening, so I can't press cancel import or whatever (I think there's already a different submitted bug report for this)
