Bug Description

I use the gpg applet on my yubikey to authenticate to ssh servers.
This worked very nicely with the ubuntu touch applet on my aquaris for some months.
But after the latest upgrade, the yubikey seems to be recognized as a keyboard, and it immediately hides the on screen keyboard.
If I could just bring up the OSK again by pressing the OSK button, all would be fine.

I assumed I could work around the problem by plugging in an USB hub which lets me connect the yubikey and a USB keyboard simultaneously. But unfortunately the USB keyboard does not work with the terminal app.

Hi Richard,

Sorry for the very late reply, but terminal-app hasn't been actively maintained for a while.

For what I understand, this is not fault of terminal-app because the OSK is not managed by the single app, but it's rather system-wide.

Could you please verify, if you still can, that the OSK becomes not available for any application?
e.g. from the unity8 homescreen, tap "search" on a scope of your choice, so that a text input is required and the OSK gets visible.

Marking as "Incomplete" for now. As soon as I get this information, I'll be glad to update the status of the report again.

Thanks!
