Bug Description

Binary package hint: konqueror

In Kubuntu Feisty
files:
/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/text-*print.desktop
have line:
Exec=kprinter -t %n --caption %n --icon %i --miniicon %m %U

I believe it should be:
Exec=kprinter -t %n --caption %n %i %m %U
because %i and %m already contain arg names.

As a side effect of this "bug", when you print files (from action menu) kprinter gets two additional fake files in its list to print.

Regards!

Good evening,

I am wondering if you are still having problems with the konqueror servicemenus having problems? If you are could please update this bug to reflect its current status?
Could you also include the current version of KDE and Kubuntu you are using

Jonathan

I just tested Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy (KDE 3.5.9).
Same problem exists in both konqueror and dolphin.

If you choose right-click -> print... for text file (for example) you will be presented with print dialog with two extra files in it (see attachment).

I didn't have a chance of testing Ibex or KDE 4.1

Thanks.

No such servicemenus in KDE 4 anymore. We will certainly take care that if they should get reintroduced, that it is done properly :)

Changed in kdebase:
