I have just had this app crash on me but it has now loaded after I go into ~/config/deluge and deleted the blocklist.conf and the blocklist.cache

The same Problem. Xubuntu 8.04 (hardy), 2.6.24-17-generic. PackageArchitecture: 386

Same problem here. Followed Neal's solution and everything's working again.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 RC or later?

I'm still using hardy with deluge 0.5.8.9.
No more chrashes for more than 3 months, yet.
Why? I've no idea.
