Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat

Basically, the included Tcl plugin isn't working with this script:

on !testing example {
     print "Success!"
}

Upon typing !testing in the active channel, nothing happens. Therefore, since the script is valid, there must be a problem with the Tcl plugin.

Or, at lest the "on" function.

Confirming this.

"on PRIVMSG" works (as used, for instance, at http://www.scriptkitties.com/tclplugin/pluginscripts.tar.gz in the 'nicksaid.tcl' script).

"on !text", however, doesn't, even when trying with the verbatim !opme example at http://www.scriptkitties.com/tclplugin/tclplugin.shtml#on ('splitsrc' procedure added).

I haven't been able to use "on ACTION", either.

Gutsy, xchat 2.8.4-0ubuntu5
