Bug Description

On logging into the dashboard, everything looks ok, but can't seem to click on any of the menu elements outside of "System".

On checking the browser console (press F12) I see (full log attached):

Uncaught Error: [$injector:modulerr] Failed to instantiate module horizon.app due to:
Error: [$injector:modulerr] Failed to instantiate module horizon.auth due to:
Error: [$injector:nomod] Module 'horizon.auth' is not available! You either misspelled the module name or forgot to load it. If registering a module ensure that you specify the dependencies as the second argument.

Seems to be an angular related error but haven't turned up much online for it so far.

Suspect this may be due to the httpd config not been compatible with the way I'm accessing the server via ssh port forwarding. If someone else could confirm whether they have this bug or not that would be great.

Please confirm this is not still the case. The ansible and horizon code has merged and I am able to use horizon.

Horizon is badly broken on centos + binary and I suspect centos/oracelinux/fedora+source are also busted badly. I am working on fixing this.

Marking incomplete for now, would appreciate a retest once the horizon code I'm working on hits the repository.

Paul,

Can you retest on centos + binary or ubuntu + source? Both of these build modes work for me on master.

I believe this has been solved by the following commit:

https://github.com/openstack/kolla/commit/f587ed372910c2afc97d8dcfc6daa0fca263c8bf

Please reopen with more information if that is not the case.
