MARC editor unsaved changes dialog does not fire on pasted text

Bug Description

Evergreen 2.8, affects all versions.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Copy text to your clipboard. Any text will do.
2. Navigate to the MARC editor interface.
3. Paste the copied text (control-v or right-click->paste) into a MARC field.
4. Navigate away from the screen by choosing a different interface from the menu or using a hotkey.
5. No warning dialog for unsaved changes appears.

I believe this and bug 1474529 are related. In 1474529 nothing is saved even though a symbol has been inserted, I imgaine in this case if the save button were clicked and nothing else that the pasted text would also not be saved. It may have to do with the JS event used to mark records as edited.

Related to Jason's comment above. If I paste (as described in the bug description) then click save, the pasted data saves. If I instead "alt-d" to save the record, the pasted data does not save. I agree this is related to bug 1474529, possibly a duplicate.

Confirmed in XUL client, 2.12.3; however the web client will prompt you to save if you past text & try to navigate away by clicking the browser back button, clicking in a different menu, or using a hotkey.

Setting this bug to Won't Fix since it is fixed in the web client and the xul client is now deprecated.
