msql extension is deprecated

Bug Description

Hey guys, when running install for this I get a bunch of mysql extensions are deprecated in PHP 5.6, can you update the code to use mysqli instead?

I work with the RCPT and we are attempting to use the NYC OEM/RCPT Sahana without much luck. It looks like this bug and another for Sahana-Agasti are the problem.

Hi, Kilauea doesn't support mysqli out of the box. If there is a requirement, we could look in to building it for you.

The thing is that newer versions of PHP don't support the mysql extension, it has been deprecated and PHP7 will not even have it anymore, PHP now uses the mysqli extension for MySQL databases which uses the built-in mysqlnd extension.

So, is mysqli a requirement for PHP to use MySQL databases, the answer is "YES".
