f-sport crashed when starting Photo export (any type of export)

Bug Description

Probably duplicate of bug 1351360

F-spot crashes as soon as the following menu option is chosen Photo / Export to / folder (or any other export method)
The result is that you cannot export photos in any way. This problem has been in f-spot since the start of 14.04 in 2014.

I get the following error message in the terminal:
