Bug Description

I run the HTTPS everywhere plugin on firefox. Every single time I click a google link to a page under the http://docs.openstack.org/ domain my browser redirects to https://docs.openstack.org/ and I get "Unable to connect."

One way or another, it would be nice to make those links work. Running 'HTTPS everywhere' isn't an especially weird use case these days.

As per mail thread: http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack/2015-July/013300.html docs.openstack.org does not serve over https, due to technical limitations. It's a desired feature, but not one we're able to implement at this stage.

Changed in openstack-manuals:
status: New → Won't Fix

information type: Public → Public Security

So is this an issue that should be upstreamed to https-everywhere?
