3.19.0-23 after boot no networking

Bug Description

I just used the Software updater 24.7.15 and after booting I had no more networking.
So I booted back to 3.19.0-22

lspci | grep -i net

00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection I217-V (rev 05)
03:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8821AE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 1478191

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

After a new boot, networking works again.
But the system reports a problem which I submitted.
