Bug Description
Can python-crontab write system variables for crontab?
I would like to be able to set the "SHELL=/bin/bash" and "<email address hidden>"
I am using this on a Raspberry Pi and having a devil of a time getting cron to work. Perfectly valid commands are entered but they are not run. Changing the "SHELL=/bin/bash" seems to have fixed it so now I need to have my python script check for this and add it if it is not already there.
Thanks,
James

Could you link to the definition or some example crontabs that do this?
You should also be able to run the command by prefacing the command with /bin/bash to solve your immediate issue.
