Bug Description

I have a laptop that i just tried to use with my 19" lcd screen to pane my desktop.
To keep 3D acceleration the desktop need not to overweight 2048x2048 so i placed my laptop display under the lcd screen and in that situation when the awn bar is hidden it appears on top of the laptop screen.

I guess the code make the bar display at negative position that are onscreen in that case.

I know this is a pretty big problem that won't be resolved for a long time but i thought i had to report it ... multi screen configuration is pretty hard to be perfect so for now i guess i'll disable auto hide when i need the multi screen !

Anyway i joined a screenshot for you to see the bug

Maybe we can add in the option to make the bar just 'hide' or 'show', instead of moving down and up. This could be pretty good for the people with low-power machines also. Targetting for 0.2.6

How can this bug be marked as confirmed with high priority and not corrected after 1.5 year ? This is a bump. ;-)

Ahem. Sorry, the effect of adding Fedora thanks to the "also affect distribution" link (since I'm using F10) was not as I expected…

FWIW autohide was completely rewritten for the 0.4 release, we expect testing packages to be available in a couple of weeks, then you can all test whether the issue is fixed.
