gutsy on boot acts as if it has extended desktop enabled but cannot move around. If I restart x it fixes itself then generates crash report.

Just installed Gutsy 7.1 updates installed. On boot it acts as if desktop extends past bottom of screen.There is no bar at bottom and mouse moves past bottom of screen. If I try running any apps they don't show up. If I restart X Ctrl+Alt+Bksp I can see windows from any running apps for a second just before it restarts back to login and after restart the problem goes away and generates crash report. I have only booted up a handful of times since install and the crash has happened twicebut not every time. Not sure if this is a compiz-fusion or Nvidia driver problem.
