Hi Jairo
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you?, do you check if you have enough free space in your hard drive?, Can you please try with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron?

Thanks in advance.

This is still a problem. In Intrepid and Jaunty, the webcam doesn't work with Skype (and it worked few years ago).
