Are there any lines containing "audit" in /var/log/syslog?

Can you print after running

sudo aa-complain cupsd

To display /var/log/syslog, open it with an editor, or run

less /var/log/syslog

Then search for "audit" lines in the file.

If you run

grep audit /var/log/syslog

only the "audit" lines are displayed. Please post these lines here.

For the second part, run

sudo apt-get install apparmor-utils

and after that

cancel -a
sudo aa-complain cupsd

Try to print again. Does it work now?

Thank you, there was no return for "audit" that I could find, used the
search function as well. Out put is as follows.

robert@spareparts ~ $ grep audit /var/log/syslog
robert@spareparts ~ $ grep audit /var/log/syslog
robert@spareparts ~ $ cancel -a
robert@spareparts ~ $ sudo aa-complain cupsd
